"Saturday will be our first league game of the season after being promoted last year into Midlands 1st devision. The game will be against Worcester 1sts who finished 2nd from bottom last year so we will be looking for a good result against them, but we know we need to play at our best.

We have a strong side of 14 including new players to the side Henry Jones, Tom Hartill, and Ben Parnham, all of which are looking very promising to back up and already competitive squad.

A recent mid-week friendly against Stourport was a good test against a higher league side and although Bridgnorth lost, we were able work on the defensive aspects of our game, identifying how we can improve our positioning and press.

I am looking forward to starting the season as the new First Team Captain, although this league will be tough, I know that the squad behind me will step up to challenge."
