Hi there all, This is an edited email that might be of interest to you. Please feel free to ask Chaz or I if you want any guidance. In the links at the bottom of the page are the dates for age group trials / assessments. Lots of Bridgnorth players have and are in the Shropshire teams and it is a good standard where they play all the other counties in the midlands. The training is good and developmental and it might be that younger players have to work to get into teams the next season for example.

Shropshire County Junior Hockey 23-24
Hi to all Shropshire Hockey Clubs.
The bank holiday weekend is over and young players at clubs are hopefully looking forward to the new hockey season 23 24.

Over the summer England Hockey moved the registration process for junior county, for all counties, across to the Talent platform (TP). As a county we are still getting to grips with how this all works. It is based on Clubbuzz.

Attached are links to info on the Shropshire County Hockey Assessments for 23-24.

All players who have attended Development Centres or played County hockey before will have received this information directly and been sent their new login details.

Current Players should go to https://shropshirecountyhockey.talentplatform.hockey/, and login.

New players who have not attended Shropshire Development Centres or played for the county before just visit the same website and click “Join the County” It is very easy to do.
Perhaps you can promote JUNIOR COUNTY HOCKEY and encourage club players who you think are ready for County to give it a go. (No need to have attended the Development Centres)
