We are sad to learn of the death of Brigg Town supporter John Cairns at the age of 80.
John has supported the Zebras for several years and was a popular figure with a genial character and the possessor of droll observations.
John died before Christmas and his funeral was held at Woodlands Crematorium in Scunthorpe on 16th December.
He was also a respected figure in the local bowls scene, where he played for Brigg Sugar and Perrys.
We would like to express our condolences and sympathies to his friends and family at this sad time.
