Brigg have made it seven wins out of seven. This time they won 2-1 at Lincoln United Development Squad.
There were four changes with Chris Rodgers, Will Forrest, Joe Moloney and Jake Reed replacing Matty Davies, Tom Pearson, Adam Gowing and Cameron Hill.
Brigg began brightly and took the lead with through Reece Moody's penalty. Moody has won and scored all four of Brigg's penalties this season.
Soon afterwards George Merrick floated in a free kick and Jack Tierney rose highest to head home.
Lincoln pulled one back with a free kick in the second half. However, it wasn't enough to stop Brigg from winning their seventh match in a row.
Manager Lee Thompson was very pleased.
"The first half was a bit scrappy and we had the wind behind us. Even so we were 2-0 up at half time which was good.
"The second half was a lot better in terms of football with plenty of chances. In difficult windy conditions the lads stuck to their jobs and fully deserved the three points.
"Chris Rodgers was our man of the match. He defended very well, kept the shape and organised the team as captain.
"We're unbeaten this season, but I still think there's more to come and room for improvement. We can't take our foot off the gas and we won't underestimate any team or we'll get turned over.
"We couldn't have wished for a better start."
On Saturday, Brigg visit Lincoln Moorlands Railway in the league (kick off 3pm).
