Regent take on Gt Yarmouth in the First Division KO Cup Final tomorrow night.

Regent make the trip tomorrow night to take on Gt Yarmouth in the First Division KO Cup final. The game is to be played at Diss Town FC IP22 4QP, 7.30pm kick off. It's the last game in a record breaking season for Regent which has seen them have their best run in the FA Vase before going out to Brantham Athletic in the last 64 (round 3) and a promotion to step 5 and the Premier Division for the first time since the 1992-93 season. During the season there was also a 22 game unbeaten run in the League which spanned 6 months and saw the team collect 58 points in that spell (18 wins and 4 draws). This season has also seen the team collect 2 awards for being the form team during that spell which resulted in 2 donations of £100 to the Essex FA Benevolent fund and the Children's ward at Colchester General Hospital and 2 cheques going to the club for £150. The team also picked up an award for their discipline in a 2 month spell which was the 2nd best in the Thurlow Nunn League and resulted in a £200 award going on sub jackets. Webster and his team take on Yarmouth who finished 10th, 20 points and 7 positions below them in the League but were the team who ended their 22 game unbeaten run when they won 2-1 at North Road. In the other League game between the 2 sides it ended in a 1-1 draw so a tough tie for both sides. Webster has Scott Page still unavailable through injury and also Ryan Salter is out also through injury,Dan Beeson is back however after serving his one game ban and Webster takes a 16 man squad with him. The club has now filled the coach and with a fewwww travelling up in cars it should be a good atmosphere and game hopefully.
