Brightlingsea Regent are pleased to announce the signing of Ollie Canfer. Ollie had agreed to sign in pre-season but a move away due to work meant that this fell through, a move back to the area however has seen the move now happen. Ollie was part of the Hadleigh United team who pipped Regent to the title on goal difference last season and Webster was delighted with his latest acquisition,
Webster said, " Ollie is a player that really excites me, his a powerful player and very direct who I was hugely impressed with last season when we played against Hadleigh. I was really disappointed but fully understood when work meant the deal fell through in the summer but having kept in contact with Ollie I was really pleased when I realised he was moving back to the area. Ollie can play a number of positions and I'm really looking forward to working with him and seeing what he can bring to the group.".
