Brightlingsea Regent return to league action just 48 hours after their 2-0 victory against Wroxham when they travel to Scraley Road to take on Heybridge Swifts. The Swifts are unbeaten since the appointment of their new Manager and also have the added advantage of not being in action since Boxing Day when they drew 1-1 at home against near neighbours Maldon & Tiptree. Their New Year's day match was cancelled when the Barkingside pitch was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The R's will have a few ex Swifts in their team with in form Ben Newson along with Russell Malton, TJ Amass and Ricky Griggs amongst the squad. The two sides met in August at North Road with the Swifts winning 2-0, both teams have vastly improved since this match so it should be a good game.
The Reserves welcome Gorleston to North Road after a two week break during the festive period. The two teams met earlier in the season and drew 4-4 in a very entertaining game. Both games kick off at 3pm.
