Finally a weekend of football??

On Saturday the First team entertain Fakenham Town at North Road. Webster's boys finally got back to playing after 23 long days sitting idle due to the weather and got back straight on the horse with a 4-2 home win against Ipswich Wanderers. Phil Kelly continued his recent impressive form with a hat-trick and Jake Holman added a 4th before the Suffolk side added 2 late consolations. When the Regent travelled to Fakenham they suffered a 2-1 defeat despite taking a first half lead, Fakenham gained the points with 2 late goals. Fakenham now sit 5th, 4 points behind 4th placed Regent so its a big game for both teams.
The Reserves also have a big game, they currently sit top and travel to 2nd place Maldon & Tiptree Reserves. Having previously met twice this season both teams hold a win each. Regent won the first encounter 2-4 in the Chell Trophy with Maldon exacting some form of revenge with a 0-2 league win.
So please come and support the Regent this weekend.
