It’s 2019 and baseball winter training is just about to resume through February and March at University of Brighton Sports Centre, 1-2:30pm for children up to age 13, and 2:30-4pm for older teens and adults. In April we will move to our outdoor diamonds at Waterhall, and get going with a fantastic season of games, tournaments, and weekly practice session, which will continue through September. We welcome players of all ages (from 6 to 50+), of any gender, and with any amount of experience (including none at all!), so come along to PLAY BALL!
We talked to some of the players who have been training with us in the past year so you can get an idea of what to expect. When asked what he most looks forward to about coming to baseball, Alex, 8, replied, “Everything!” He explained how easy it is to make new friends, and how much his throwing and catching have improved. Alfie, 15, added that Brighton Baseball not only helps you build your physical skills, but provides you with a different, more positive mindset.
One of our adult players, Shane, described the amazing sense of community at Brighton Baseball, and the team spirit that we encourage. Every player who we talked to was enthusiastic to tell us about the friends they had made and the support that they feel they always have here.
