Aretians Vs B.A.C RFC

l what can I say, we turned up at what Arsh would call our peasant neighbours ready for derby day. We warmed up well and got ready for the game. Conditions were good for rugby and after the normal chat from Moany Tony about last millenniums missed tackles we were out and ready for the whistle. There were a few changes to the teams of previous weeks and a few people playing out of position so shout outs for making yourselves available and playing out of position. Also shout out to Steve “the body” bodley who’s still got the rig of a 21 year old. Nice to see you back mate hope your around this weekend!?

Anyway from kick off we got on the front foot and due to the peasants indiscipline have a series of successful catch and drives. These were going well and ground was being made. We were even dealing with them trying to fly over the top of the mauls and pull every scrum hat off they could see. Anyway after another drive being collapsed we decided to tap and go for some reason I can’t ever seem to fathom and didn’t score! From another penalty we opted for the sticks and Sammy “the gammy hammy” Sheps put us 0-3 up. From there it was basically as good as it got. I think aretians made 3 visits to our 22 all half and scored every time. A defining moment then came when welly thought he was shalk brits or Jamie George saw a gap opening up with bodders on the outside decided with all the pace of a snail to go himself. Outcome was tackled and a shit offload which even our 5 foot fuck all dwarf of a scrum half couldn’t gather turnover ball and half time. The second half saw our heads drop as we felt we probably didn’t deserve to be down and aretians tails go up they played some good rugby we didn’t defend amazingly and ended up loosing 39-8. Nathan Moore scoring our only try which even he was surprised about. Charged down a kick which got stuck in the big layer or blubber around his middle and he fell over with the force of it over the line!! Another one for the scrap book!!

Anyway gents we need availability and commitment to play the way we know we can. Onwards to Ashley down next week.
