Ahead of the first round of league fixtures, taking place on Saturday 7th September, the first General Meeting of the year was an opportunity to congratulate members on promotions during the off season, deliver learning on the law changes implemented by World Rugby ahead of the new season, and for members to reflect on the refereeing goals they will strive to achieve this year.

General Meetings will continue on a monthly basis throughout the season, taking place on the first Thursday of each month at Lockleaze Sports Centre. The Society will also be holding Training Meetings on the third Thursday of each month at Lockleaze Sports Centre, with the first being held on Thursday 19th September at 19:00.
