A disappointing round for most as only 2 of the scheduled 8 games were played:
Group 1
South Wales & Gwent conceded to Devon & Cornwall
Gloucestershire & Wiltshire conceded to North Wales
Group 1's games are now complete meaning North Wales progress - Congratulations!
Group 2
Humberside (161/3) beat Northumbria & Durham (149/8) by 12 runs
In their third closely contested match in a row, Humberside managed to bag their first win. Batting first, contributions from James Still (35) and Andy Barlow (35 not out) got them to their lowest total so far, with B. Stewart being the pick of Dumbria's bowlers (7 overs, 3 for 36). Despite best efforts by S. Taylor (39), S. Smith (37) and N. Collins (39), Humberside's bowlers managed to restrict just enough to win the day
PSNI conceded to North West Alliance
Group 3
East Midlands Alliance conceded to West Midlands Alliance
Warwickshire conceded to Police Scotland
Group 4
Kent (80/3) beat Met & City of London (176 all out) 3-2 in a bowl off after 2nd innings rained off after 16.2 overs
The first bowl off in many a year saw Kent to victory. The London side batted first and were restricted by some good Kentish bowling, in particular from S. Drakeley (8.1 overs, 5 for 37). In reply, the result was in the balance when the heavens opened. As there hadn't been enough overs bowled in the second innings to constitute a game and DLS being used, the captains agreed a bowl off, which went Kent's way
Hampshire vs Essex has been postponed and will be played on 13th July
