MATCH PREVIEW: First visit to Silkmore for NKF Burbage

By Adam Checkley

It's a trip across country for tomorrow's 6th placed visitors.

Tomorrow sees the first visits to Silkmore of NKF Burbage, a recent addition to the Midland Football League following last season’s re-organisation from the FA at Step 6.

Burbage have a good season so far, sitting comfortably in 6th place, 10 points ahead of the Badgers on 41 points. With 10 wins on the road this season so far in all competitions, Kevin and the team will be aware of their attacking ability and low goals against.

Last time out, Burbage won against Cadbury at home 3-0 with goals from Brown, Adcock and Gardener to take all three points. Adcock himself, features heavily in the goals weighing in with 10 so far this season.

For the Badgers, it’s been a welcome return for a couple of returning players such as Mark Wiggins and Ben Douglas who add strength. With the late goal loss last time out, the squad will be looking to put things right at home tomorrow.

It’s a 3pm KO at Silkmore Lane, so come down and support the lads!
