In the last our grand tour around the country and arguably our hardest as we face and in form Atherstone. Anything but a win for Atherstone could see Heather St Johns crowned as Champions and promoted this season as they are 7 points ahead of Town with 9 points to play for.
Town are on an unbeaten run stretching back to a home loss to Leicester Road way back on the 5th January, a formidable task for Brocton. However, away from Silkmore Lane, the Badgers have been adept at upsetting the odds with a win at 3rd placed Racing Warwick and having scored more goals in two games against Heather than anyone else in a topsy-turvey set of matches.
The Badgers will be looking to build on last week’s draw at Studley before finally heading back to Silkmore Lane to the Easter Monday derby with Rocester. With a top ten finish in the offing, Kev and Matt will keeping an eye on the table to achieve what would be a good end of season position for this young side.
Updates tomorrow either via @broctonfc or Atherstone’s twitter feed @FCAtherstone.
COME ON YOU BADGERS!
