Re-accreditation 2017

As many of you will know, the Club successfully applied for Clubmark accreditation in 2009 and again in 2013 is in the process of applying for re-accreditation.

Clubmark lays down a number of important standards, policies and procedures for cricket clubs. These relate in particular to the safeguarding of children, including the appointment and training of a Welfare Officer (Pip Clarke), the adoption of a safeguarding children policy, appropriate accident and emergency procedures, an inclusion and diversity policy and codes of conduct for members and guests and young members.

All of the relevant policies and procedures are posted on the Club’s website and updated as necessary; you are invited to familiarize yourselves with them. On the Home page, click on the ‘Information’ tab and then ‘Documents’.

In particular, members are requested to read the Codes of Conduct and to abide by them.

If you have any questions on any of these matters or suggestions for improvement, please contact our Welfare Officer, Pip Clarke, Secretary, Trevor Walters, or, Clubmark contact, John Pheasant.
