A fantastic team performance

In their first match v Chippenham; Bruton had all the play but just couldn't get the ball over the line ending a 0-0 draw, with some strong attacking from Emily Baller and Oliver Beaton.
Our next game against Chinnock, Bruton were unlucky to finish 1-0 down after having all the play but unable to shoot at goal against a strong defence, then being caught on the counter attack were unable to stop Chinnock from scoring. Well done to Toby Ireland and Daniel Tribe making some strong interceptions and passing he ball forwards.
In their 3rd game Bruton played some of their best hockey with some strong defending and passing from Freddie George and George Tweedley, Bruton controlled the game from the back transferring the ball across the D on numerous occasions finally slotting he ball into the goal finishing 1-0 to Bruton.
In our last game v a strong Bath Buccs team Bruton were not outplayed by any shape or form, holding their own but were beaten 3-1 after various near misses at goal.
