Is the season back under way after weather issues?

After the long lay off with the recent weather issues, Buckingham return to action in what will undoubtedly be a tough encounter away at Thatcham.

Their opponents sit mid table at present and despite a convincing 70 odd point win for Buckingham in the reverse fixture, they have been a much stonger unit at home.

Injuries and unavailabilities continue to deplete the Buckingham squad with Andy Thompson, Sam Bishop, James Hulston, Jak cluness, Adam Clarke, Dave Hawkins, Adam Whiter, Andy Turvey, Steve Miller, Sam Deal, Rob Laird, Ben Sawbridge and Dom Reynolds all missing.

However, it is still a strong team that makes the journey with the regular front row of Matt Payne, Seth Williams and Tom Haycock on duty with Jamie Temple and new siging charlie Baker in the 2nd row. Amos, Wright and Ockendon fill the back row slots.

Sam clapham and andy white continue at half back and with James Bernard and Andrew Jackson at centre there is a familiar look to the midfield.

Out wide sees the return of two promising speedsters in Callum Hayter and Theo Mettenheimer with Steve Datchler moving to fullback.

Josh harkinsd, Jamie Hartnett and Jamie Stothard give coveron the bench.

Buckingham will not be taking this one easy and hope to edge the game and keep their promotion challange up and put pressure on the leading teams.
