Tough Encounter Awaits In Form Buck

In form Buckingham travel down to Wallingford this weekend in what will be another tough encounter.

Bouyed by ther resounding win in the Bucks Shield at local rivals Milton Keynes last week, Buckingham will be brimming with confidence.

However, they have been here before this season and know that whatever happened last week will count for nothing against a resurgent Wallingford, themselves gaining momentum in their season following a draw against Aylesbury then holding Reading Abbey to a draw away from home.

The side again makes changes with Rob Laird back in his more familiar loose head role, allowing Josh Harkins to regasin his place in the back row.

However, for the first time this seson the back line remains unchanged and hopes to continue in its free scoring style.

Seth Williams remains on the bench and is joined by the returning Ben Sawbridge and back from injury Andrew Jackson in what looks like a very impressive set of replacements.

Last time Buckingham played away at Wallingford, they squeezed out a narrow win in what proved to be a vital battle against relegation 2 seasons ago.
