Travelling to Northampton Casuals Buckingham had 3 fathers and sons playing together. Ian and James Barker, Richard and Matthew Hawker and Nigel and James Howell.

James and Matthew were making their senior debut for the club and both turned in brilliant performances. James Barker started off the scoring in the first five minutes of what turned out to be fantastic team performance.
Try scorers were: on their senior debut James Barker (2 tries), Stuart Craker (3 tries) and Matthew Hawker (2 tries) and converted 1. James Howell put on a man of the match performance capped off with a brilliant try. The three sons left the field with their heads held high with their proud fathers following. Matthew Harper who also scored 3 tries from his inside centre role.
Tim Norman had his kicking boots with him and converted 6. He could show Mr Wilkinson a thing or two ! They finished the game outright winners at 69-12.
