Burnham Ramblers 1 - 2 AFC Sudbury
Burnham were taken apart by Sudbury in the first half lucky to only go in at half time loosing 0 -1. AFC Sudbury controlled the whole game and the Ramblers did even manage a single shot on goal. On 41 minutes Sam Mead misplaced his midfield pass on the half way line, the loose ball found James Baker on the edge of the Burnham box and his shot put Sudbury into a half time lead.
At half time the Ramblers made their first substitution bringing on Stuart Judd which made a massive difference managing to get hold of the ball in midfield and the Ramblers came into the game much more creating chances in front of the Sudbury goal. On 62 minutes Ricky Evans free kick from 20 yards was parried out by Alex Archer in the Sudbury goal with the ball falling to Terry Griffiths whole fired the Ramblers back level.
AFC Sudbury then realised they were in a game and with a quick throw in on 69 minutes the ball found its way across the Burnham box finding Michael Shinn who hit the eventual winner inside the near post.
The Ramblers then pressed for the equaliser with Reece Brandon bringing off great save by Alex Archer and the game finished with Sudbury going into the next round.
