4. Yr8 U13s Tournament

A Great event held at Burnley RUFC supported by Burnley Schools Partnership, Burnley Community Rugby Coach and six schools took part.

Refereed by club volunteer Robin Reid, RFU Mark Sutcliffe, Leon Conway Burnley U13's Coach and Unity College Year 10 Student Adam Broxton all helping the successful flow of the games.

Every School played one another and the standard of running, tackling and rucking was great to see. Showing all schools doing great things to get these lads to such a good level.

Overall all teams won a match, with Park from Colne coming out on top. However the winner was seeing 80 lads take part in contact rugby and it would be good now to see all of them down their local clubs and continue rugby outside school.

Taking part were Sir John Thursby, Unity College and Blessed Trinity from Burnley, Park High from Colne, Pendle Vale from Pendle and All Saints from Rossendale.

Great Event, next Thursday it's the turn of the Year 7's.
