Dave Sutton Returns to The Helm

The club has announced that David Sutton is First Team Manager for the season 2019/20.

Dave is currently recruiting a playing squad to achieve the key objective Burscough FC have set, an 'on field' target for the new season of winning a promotion spot.

Whilst 'breaking ground' for the new stadium's construction is imminent, the new season will commence at Victoria Park. Contractors are currently working on the heritage playing surface, a modest investment prior to the short move to brand new and appropriate FA graded facilities.

As Director of Football, Dave has indicated a preference that the new stadium's playing surface should be artificial and to at least 3G specification, retained Architects to the project are researching examples of contemporary best practice and appropriate grade for the club's working party to visit.

The new stadium's 'Milestone' dates will be announced in due course
