RFU League Structure announced

The new RFU League Structure have been announced (click here) and for the first time both the Burton A XV and Burton B XV will play in an RFU League so have the chance to have full on competitive matches for league points and be involved with promotion or relegation battles.

The 1st XV will again play at level 5 and come up against regular opponents from previous season however Friday night lights games will be scheduled in this season as we welcome back Lichfield, Derby and Stoke into the league.

The A XV have been placed at level 7 along with their counterparts from Hinckley but will now have proper opposition each week with challenges from Ashby, Coalville, Ilkeston and Loughborough (all 1st XV’s).

The B’s will be entered at level 10 with the likes of Stoke 2nds, Longton 2nds and other 1st XV’s including Atherstone, Essington and Stone.

End off season cup games will also be available for all teams.
