The A team travelled to Bridgnorth on a mild saturday afternoon with a squad of 21. After 2 wins on the trot, the boys from Peel Croft, were confident they turn over there 4th placed oppositions.
The game kicked off with a strong gust blowing down the pitch. Running into the wind made carrying hard, but the likes of Boom boom and Tom Gibbs carried strong nonetheless.
The game went from end to end, with turnovers for both teams. As was expected the game was fiesty and aggressive with both teams refusing to take a backwards step.
A yellow card for Bridgnorth for a unprovoked attack on Tom Gibbs was the first time the game boiled over. Whilst Burton couldn't really capitalise, 3 points from the boot of Ciro 'Gary' Alverado, was better than nothing.
It turned into an arm wrestle for the remainder of the half, with big hits and strong surges from both sides.

The second half continued in a similar fashion, and it took 2 dubious yellow cards before Bridgnorth breached the visitors defence. 5-3.
From the kick off Burton began to find holes in the home teams defence, breaks from Josh Lister, Curtos Green and new player Julian Bognor showed the dangerous side to their game, however the final passes either went to ground or they were turned over frustratingly.
Finally however Saba managed to scoop up a loose ball and sprint in to score. 5-8.
Burton were in the ascendancy, until another yellow card took some steam out of them. In this time Bridgnorth crossed again, 12-8.
The visitors pushed and pushed for the winning try, but the defence held strong. A final flare up in the last minute gave the game to the home team, who were jubilant at the final whistle.

Another shoulda, coulda, woulda. But Burton's discipline ultimately cost them the game, with no easy games in this league, this has to change if they are to avoid relegation.
