Battling U13 go down fighting against Trentham

Another valiant performance from the lads in black and white this morning.

All the forwards played committed and well disciplined Rugby, the Scrum was also very strong. There was some excellent Rucking and Mauling from all the team so it appears that the Wednesday night drills are stating to pay dividends.

The backs had some great opportunities and used the ball well when they were going forward. However Trentham brought 2 exceptionally quick players with them that made all the difference. They were genuinely the difference between the two teams.

Burton took them the whole way finally going down 40 points to nothing.

There are many positives to take from the performance and obvious disciplines that we need to start and work on - but the signs are encouraging with the team beginning to show greater cohesion when in attack, its just the defensive qualities that we need to work.

All in all they should be incredibly proud of the way that they kept digging in.

Well done boys
