Heath welcomed a very good Plymouth parkway side to Springfield for this Emirates F.A Cup tie and the crowd were treated to a very entertaining game.
Heath made the perfect start when a corner was flicked on byJamie Horgan for Matt Britton to smash home in the first minute.
Plymouth were quick to respond and put the Heathbdefence under some pressure but a breakaway saw Heath storm forward and a great cross ball fell to Jamie Horgan with the visiting keeper stranded but his effort just failed to cross the goal line somehow.
Minutes later Matt Huxley spurned a good opportunity, it was a case of would these missed chances come back to haunt us.
Plymouth continued to press but the Heath defence were solid with Andy Campbell and Callum Whooley snuffing out the danger.
As the first half came to an end there was nothing to choose between the sides apart from the very early goal and this game was far from over.
The second half saw Parkway up the tempo and put Heath under almost constant pressure for the first ten minutes or so but Heath were still looking dangerous on the break.
Another Parkway attack saw home keeper Ben Crickmay pull off a great save to keep Parkway at bay, once again solid defending from the Heath team snuffed out most of the Parkway attacks.
With time running out Parkway pushed more and more players forward in an attempt to earn a replay and it almost came on 89 minutes when a corner was played and a resulting shot hit the bar and as the ball came down Heath cleared forward to Matt Huxley who was faced with the visiting keeper almost on the half way line and he curled the ball around him and into the net.
This sent the home crowd wild as the game was now over or we all thought it was but there was still time for Harry
Churchley to send a great effort into the top corner giving the keeper no chance.
The final whistle went to huge celebrations from the home supporters and players in what was a very special day for the club
We must say the score line flattered us a little but take nothing away from our lads who put in a really great team performance.
Also it was good to meet some very nice people from Plymouth who although were obviously deflated by defeat were very gracious and a credit to their club.
We now await Monday's draw hopefully at home, exciting stuff.
