Heath travelled the short distance to Hallen looking to put behind them what can only be described as a bleak record of late against them.
With both teams looking as though the season was nearly at a close it was Heath who looked much the brighter in the opening stages.
We had to wait until the 30th minute before Heath opened the scoring with Matt Huxley scoring at the near post after good work from George Boon.
Heath doubled their lead on 65 minutes when Nick Dyer finished a good move down the right.
Then on 72 minutes Heath hit a third when a great ball from Harry Paice found George Boon who left the Hallen defender before putting in a perfect cross For Huxley to bag his second of the night and 39th of the season.
Hallen did score a late consolation goal, but in all fairness if it were not for an outstanding performance from the home keeper, Heath would have won by a much wider margin.,
So three wins on the spin and some better performances, this season will no doubt have been a great learning curve for some of our younger players and they will for sure benefit from these experiences next season.
Our final two games represent tough opponents in Manor Farm and Shepton Mallet but at least we can go into these games with a freedom to express ourselves.
