Heath travelled the short distance to local rivals Bitton but unfortunately came away empty handed after two defensive errors proved very costly.
In what was a decent game Heath suffered the first blow after just seven minutes when Harry Paice was robbed of the ball in his own area to gift Bitton the chance of taking an early lead, which they did with ease.
The game was fairly even with both sides having half chances, Matt Huxley heade wide when well placed and George Boon almost scored with a great effort just before the break.
The second half was much the same with both teams trying to play when they could, and again chances came and went at both ends.
The Bitton keeper made two great saves first from Huxley the From Hart but once again a bad error by Andy Campbell allowed Bitton in for their second with five minutes remaining.
A disappointing result for the Heath but there were some positives to build on.
We now travel to Christchurch on Sunday for our F.A Cup tie.
