Heath travelled to Gillingham hoping to pick up more points but unfortunately came away with nothing.
Gillingham started brightly and only two superb saves by the Heath keeper Ben Crickmay kept them at bay, as the game wore on Heath grew into the game and we're creating some good opportunities.
The best of these fell to Matt Huxley who put the ball just the wrong side of the post.
The second half saw Gillingham take an early lead but Heath hit back very quickly with Matt Huxley scoring from close range.
The game was a fairly even contest with both sides having their fair share of the ball, but then the Heath keeper Ben Crickmay went down with an injury and couldn't continue, we have since found out he has suffered two broken bones in his foot.
This led to substitute Andy Cambelltaking over between the sticks, one thing for sure this man is no keeper but did his best for the 35 minutes he was there.
Gillingham took the lead five minutes after the keeper change and scored their third with minutes to go.
So a disappointing result to finish a fairly positive week, we now look forward to a week off before we entertain Amesbury in the F.A.Vase at Springfield nest Saturday.
