Well earned draw for Rhinos

A spirited performance by the under 15s saw them come away from Chorley feeling a tad unlucky to only earn a draw
The opening exchanges saw some strong running from Lewis Colbeck, Harris Johnstone and Louie Saunders make in roads in to the Chorley defence however it was the Panthers who scored first after 6 minutes with a try in the corner giving them a 4-0 lead.
The Rhinos were playing well however with Billy Thorpe looking lively and on 14 minutes Connor Bailey's pass found Charlie Wells out wide who scored to level the game.
Cadishead were finding plenty of success with some strong running from Ethan Mitchelmore, Dylan Martin and Cameron Macdonald and their good work was rewarded when hooker Billy Thorpe stretched out close to the line to score. Connor Bailey added the conversion and the Rhinos led 10-4.
Just before the break the Panthers showed good character to hit back and a try out wide took the half time score to 10-8.
The Rhinos started the second half brightly with Owen Elliott and Connor Bailey controlling the play however an error from Ethan Mitchelmore as he knocked the ball on trying to clear the ball from the in goal area handed the Panthers a simple try.
The Rhinos hit back though straight from the kick off forcing an error and then Louie Saunders barged his way over for a try beneath the sticks, Owen Elliott added the conversion to put the Rhinos 16-12 ahead.
Ben Jones came close to scoring as he collected a cross field kick but was inches short.
The Panthers set up a tense finish when they scored on 57 minutes to level the scores and the Rhinos spent the final minutes camped in the Chorley half but were unable to strike as they game ended in a draw.
