With the weekend fast approaching and the open age set to face Blackbrook A in their 2nd preseason friendly the club can now announce a full fixture list for the open age side.

The team will travel to Aspull New Springs as they get their cup run under way on the 25th Feb to start the competitive fixtures for 2017. A tough start with the teams having met in a friendly last season and the Rhinos narrowly winning the game.
The league season starts with a home game Vs potential early title favourites Westhoughton Lions, so the lads will need to put a marker down for the season and set the standards high.

A mid-season friendly against Cosford Lions is already confirmed and teh Rhinos are looking forward to locking horns with the lions for the 2nd season running for a Thursday night fixture on April 27th.

The Rhinos will also find themselves on tour on the 15th July when they make a trip to take on Sussex Merlins for the 2nd time in 3 years for a friendly game. The last time these 2 sides met was a great occasion and definitely one the lads will be looking forward to again.

With a league "shake up" 6 teams have entered the league this year, over the years the Rhinos would have faced all of them but, this will be a different kettle of fish and some great local trips to Langworthy Reds, Little Hulton Reds, Culceth Eagles and Woolston Rovers "A" are all set to take place this season. The return of Rylands Sharks "A", who the Rhinos have had some great battles with in recent years, and the re-introduction into the league of Runcorn look tee up some fantastic rugby league games.
Last years division 5 winners Orrell St James "A" faced a young, Rhinos "A" side, last season and the players and coaches alike will know to be at the top of their game all season to fight for the play offs and title.
