Over 7,344 km 'travelled' in just one week!

Amazing effort by so many members of the Club - 7,344 km run, walked, cycled - even some reservoir swimming creeping in at the end of the week! The weather has been amazing and we have been delighted that all ages have been submitting all the km they and their families have been doing while out exercising.
People have sent in so many beautiful photos - Scotland at its best - Edinburgh, East Lothian, Pencaitland, the Pentlands, Arthur's Seat, Gullane, Forth Road Bridge - amazing clear views everywhere. We have found lots of stone trails, freedom on empty golf courses, waterfalls, reservoirs, canal, parks, beaches; some have checked up that Meggetland is indeed ready and waiting for our return to hockey; and many have enjoyed some well deserved treats at the end of the day.
We have thought about where in the world we could have travelled to each day - where could we be on holiday?? (Although who needs to go anywhere when the weather is so beautiful here?) After 7,300 km we could be anywhere as far away as British Colombia, Utah, New Mexico, Florida, Nepal, Mumbai, Kenya...
And of course there's been some competition between the teams/age groups over the week - Ladies 1s just topped the scoreboard but closely followed by various other teams and the men are gaining momentum as the days progress; lots of good distances being submitted by the youth members and their families too.
Well done all and keep it going!
