Cala 5 match report

What a team performance!
In a nutshell, everyone played really well.
Attack after attack was repelled by our opposition. Our defence were solid as were our midfield of Amelie, Lauren and Lisa. They created many attacking moves with some lovely 1/2's between themselves and the forwards.
Quite a few penalty corners were awarded but we didn't manage to convert otherwise the score for us would have been better....definitely did not reflect the run of play. Jess had a beautiful strike which she followed up and scored. She was particularly good at covering the pitch at speed.
The most amazing move of the match was Rosie's save to prevent a goal. Magnificent and even now I don't know how the ball didn't cross the line.
Alice was denied a few goals which she deserved. Her determination to put the ball in the net was not to be!
A truly well deserved victory for a great team performance.
