Ladies 5s had the better of opening exchanges against Inverleith and scored twice both by Lesley from corners. The score was 2-2 at half-time and Rosie had been forced into a number of excellent saves to keep the opposition at bay. We won the ball back regularly but struggled to build any consistent pressure. They went 3-2 up after half-time but and excellent break down the right saw Amelie in the clear and a great cross was clinically finished by Ailsa from around the penalty spot. Unfortunately some consistent pressure saw Inverleith force home another couple of goals but not without some promising attacks from Edinburgh Hockey Club CALA. Getting more clinical in the circle and winning corners will be a target for 4-6s as we approach the end of the first half of the season.
