Kings Academy, Binfield
Saturday 12th July – 12pm KO
Pre-Season Friendly
Eversley & California continued their 2025/26 preparations with a 4–1 win over Binfield in sweltering conditions on Saturday afternoon.
The Boars started brightly in the extreme heat, and it wasn’t long before the deadlock was broken. Ross Baker curled home a superb free-kick inside the opening 15 minutes to give Eversley an early lead.
Just before the half-time whistle, and moments after a goal had been disallowed for offside, Cally Samuel-Harman doubled the advantage with a well-taken finish to send Eversley into the break 2–0 up.
Binfield came out with purpose in the second half and caused The Boars a host of issues and had repeated chances, forcing Josh Selby to make a couple of good saves. Binfield got back into the game with a magnificent solo effort but despite the energy-sapping conditions, the Boars continued to push forward and Max Laschok put the game to bed, lobbing the onlooking Binfield goalkeeper twice in the space of 5 minutes to seal an impressive pre-season performance.
