Eversley & California Football Club were proud finalists in two categories at the 2024/25 Berkshire Football Awards, held on Wednesday 18th June at Double-Barrelled Brewery in Reading.
Organised by the regional football publication Football in Berkshire, the awards celebrate excellence across grassroots and non-league football in the area.
First-team management duo Mitchel Cooper and Darryl Jelly were shortlisted together for the prestigious Manager of the Year award, following a season of strong performances that culminated in the club's historic promotion to Step 5. In addition, long-standing club volunteer Natasha Pantony was nominated for Volunteer of the Year, recognising her significant contributions off the pitch.
While the club did not take home an award on the night, it was nonetheless an evening of celebration and recognition. Everyone at Eversley & California F.C. is immensely grateful for the nominations and proud to be part of an event that honours the passion and commitment driving local football forward.
The club extends its thanks to Football in Berkshire for their continued support of the grassroots game and congratulates all of this year’s winners and nominees.
