Gorran 111, Camborne 112-5
Despite losing Aidan Rees to a dislocated knee cap in the warm up, Camborne got off to a winning start at Gorran after dismissing the home side for 111. Rees, who is likely to miss the lion's share of the season, was replaced by club president David Weeks.
Gorran skipper Robin Kendall made 23 and Ryan Clark 22. Ryan Downing took four for 16 and Dan Hocking three for 41.
South African Sage Masher picked up two wickets on his debut.
After Nick King hit 28 Simon Hosking made 21 and Sam Pooley 20 to see their side to a five wicket win. Clark took all five wickets at a personal cost of 24 runs.
