All Black's promoted

Launceston gained promotion with a superb second half comeback against Old Cents at Polton Bridge this afternoon.

With the hosts trailing 19 - 0 at the break and having a player in the sin bin things certainly looked bleak, but whatever was said at the interval worked wonders as the All Black's came out fired up.

With a strong wind behind them they grabbed a vital try in the opening minutes whilst still down to 14.
It was now Old Cents turn to be on the back foot as Launceston had their tails up and took the game to the visitors.

With the home pack dominating it wasn't long before they grabbed their second try from a pick and drive to close the gap to 12 - 22. From then on it was all one way traffic as the All Black's confidence grew and Old Cents struggled to live with them.

3 further tries rounded off an excellent come back and confirmed Launceston's promotion to the South West Premier league and a brace of Cornish derby game against Camborne.
