The Crusaders will be looking to get back to winning ways when they host Albany on Saturday after they sustained a rare defeat up at Lankelly-Fowey.
The was only their second loss in the last 15 matches and has cranked up the pressure on the promotion favourites.
Even though the Crusaders went into the game lacking several players they still should have carried too much fire power for the hosts.
Hooker Tyler Dower sustained a suspected broken ankle representing the 1st XV and fly half Declan Simmonds also picked up an injury in the National league 2 win at Hornets last weekend.
Stand in fly half Dominic Trengrove went off in the loss at Lankelly-Fowey and with players like Marcus Roberts, Scott French, Oakley Smitham, Dominic Tresidder, Talon Daniels and Adam Long all either injured or unavailable the Crusaders backline has been decimated.
So the team will need to show they have a lot of strength in depth over the next few weeks if they are to keep the pressure up on the league leaders.
