On Saturday the team make the relatively short trip to Devon for our first ever meeting with Exeter University.
The hosts have had a rapid climb up the league structure in the short time they've been playing league rugby and at present sit 5 points ahead of the Cherry & Whites in the table. This is only to be expected with the resources and larger player bank they have to choose from with of a major University behind them.
Team News:
Camborne make three changes in the pack with player/coach Damien Cook coming in for Tony Whittle, Tommy Southworth returning at hooker and Dave Roberts in for Ash Riches.
The back line has just one change as Rhodri Mcatee returns at Scrum half with Bradley Bawden dropping to the bench.
Just one change on the bench with a return for back row forward Phil Hinchley.
Coaches will hoping their experienced pack will be able give the team the edge against the students.
Due to the poor weather forecast for this week in the Exeter area the match has been switched from the Uni's Topsham ground to their pitch at the Campus (EX4 4QJ for those driving up). Please note the match has a 2pm kick off time, which is slightly earlier than usual. The club are expecting a good following to travel up and get behind the team this weekend as they go hunting for their second away victory in succession.
