Depleted Camborne sustained a heavy loss at Weston Super Mare this afternoon against 2nd place Hornets. Late changes to an already ravaged squad did them no favours as did only having two players on the bench but you certainly couldn't fault the teams effort or commitment.
The team never gave up and fought to the bitter end but were dominated by a much heavier pack and starved of good ball throughout the game. Both teams squandered opportunities and made errors in a bit of a scrappy encounter but you couldn't argue with the result.
Camborne will be glad to have a free weekend to lick their wounds, re-focus themselves and heal their bumps and bruises before they entertain Ivybridge in another Cornwall vs Devon derby at the REC on November 20th.
