Strathclyde scoop the silverware in inaugural event.

The inaugural St Andrew’s cup competition saw up to 80 players and fans turn up to Stepps to mark a fantastic occasion. The event saw Cambria and Strathclyde University AFC host Glasgow On The Ball and United Glasgow FC to celebrate diversity and inclusivity within the amateur game.
The tournament trophy was eventually won by an impressive Strathclyde side who toasted their victory with the rest of teams in the upstairs bar within the Stepps pavilion.
Cambria President Sinclair Patience said “We are delighted with the success of the first St Andrew's Cup. We are hoping that this was the first of a series of events that Cambria will organise to promote our values of diversity & fairness. We would like to thank the partner teams and players that made this day possible and look forward to strengthening our ties in the football community”.
