The tough start to the new year continues as both sides suffered 3 - 1 defeats on Saturday.
The 1st team headed to Great Shelford once again, 7 days after a 5 - 2 loss in the cup, this time in Kershaw Premier action. The damage was done in the first half, with the hosts taking a 3 - 1 lead into half time. Knight-Percival was the scorer for CUP.
The Reserves were at home for a second consecutive week, with Linton Granta Reserves the visitors for this Senior B clash. Townshend equalised early in the second half for CUP, before two really poor decisions from the man in the middle helped Linton to two goals and victory.
Training continues tomorrow night, 6.45pm start at the Cass. Both sides will be busy preparing for Saturday, when the 1st team head east to Linton Granta in the Kershaw Premier with the Reserves playing the third of six home matches in a row against St Ives Rangers. Matches will kick off at 2pm.
