In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, players from the Cambridge University Rugby League have been making waves in the broader rugby scene, achieving significant milestones outside of the club. Their accomplishments this year highlight not only their individual skills but also the depth of talent within the club.


Max Harvey, Panos Philalithis, and Archie Taylor: South East England Student Team Selection.
A trio of Cambridge stars - Max Harvey, Panos Philalithis, and Archie Taylor - have successfully trialed for the prestigious South East England student team. Their selection into this elite squad is a testament to their hard work, skill, and the high level of rugby they play at Cambridge. This achievement places them among the top student rugby league players in the region, showcasing their ability to compete at a high level beyond university competitions.

After a season with the East Anglian Vipers during the summer break, Archie Taylor was invited to trial for and ultimately was selected to play in the East of England community squad. His participation in their match against Midlands Rugby League saw Cambridge representation outside of the student setting showing the versatility of our players in different rugby settings.
