Our club recently engaged in the transformative experience of the Beyond Equality workshop, an event that resonates deeply with our commitment to fostering community values and promoting inclusive cultures. This workshop is part of a broader initiative undertaken by Beyond Equality, a dynamic organization that works with men and boys across various settings, including schools, universities, pro-sports, and workplaces. Their mission is centred around gender equality, creating inclusive communities, and nurturing healthier relationships.


Beyond Equality is renowned for its interactive and student-centred approach, ensuring that participants are not just passive listeners but active contributors in the process of learning and growth. The workshops are designed to challenge and inspire, fostering brave discussions around contemporary notions of masculinity, team culture, mental well-being, consent culture, and healthy relationships. By addressing these critical topics, Beyond Equality aims to disrupt harmful norms and stereotypes, equipping participants with new perspectives and tools for positive change.

The workshop at our club was a 120-minute session led by trained facilitators, offering a deep dive into issues such as bullying, discrimination, allyship, and active bystandership.
