Today, November 5th sees the beginning of four weeks of additional national restrictions aimed at curbing the increase in Covid-19 cases in England and follows yesterday’s parliamentary vote in favour of the Governments proposals. This will take effect until Wednesday, 2nd December and applies to Age Grade and Adult rugby activities at all levels below Championship and Premier 15s.

In effect, this means that as of today, we return to Stage A on the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap, with no competitive or formal rugby activities undertaken until at least Wednesday 2 December.

Although group training sessions are banned, a maximum of two players can participate in socially distanced (two metres plus), individual training sessions outside without sharing equipment.

The clubhouse is now closed however the car park and playing fields remain accessible and we would encourage all of our members to stay active during this period.

We would like to thank all our members for their support over the last few weeks and we will continue to provide further information and updates as necessary and the committee will ensure that Camelot is able to accommodate the guidance as it evolves.
