A strong Camelot 2xv travelled to the borough of Hackney East London on Sat 17th for our 1st away league game of the season with a strong side, confidence was high, some big players returning to the side and a strong core developing at this early stage which is great news for a stable team.
Many positives to take from this defeat, once again the pack was excellent winning all of our scrums and many against the head too, the lineouts were good also. Amazing talent in the back line showed with the 4 tries scored by Chaz Scott, Daniel O'Brien, Tom Batson and try of the match from Barry Thorne, showing incredible pace on the wing for his 1st try for the Knights with many many more expected to follow.
There were issues as the losing scoreline suggests, missed tackles, ill discipline and missed chances in front of oppo's line, It was heartening to see though that Camelot refused to give up and kept positive with no players letting their heads drop and ensuring their teammates did not drop either. this team has heart and a win is surely not far away.
