Together with North Midlands and Greater Birmingham RFU, the Camp Hill supported charity for 2019-20 is Doddie Weir Foundation ( https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/ )
Chairman Martyn 'Pogo' Powis commented “I cannot think of a more deserving charity for this season. Doddie was a great player with a big heart now tackling a hugely debilitating disease. In the past he has visited The Shrine and spoken at our players after-season dinner. We wish him and his Foundation success in their objectives.”
The first event is Saturday 7th September at Hennessy’s Bar in Birmingham, hosted by GB RFU and includes an evening with Roger Uttley. Camp Hill have reserved two of the 16 tables and although all the table tickets have been sold/reserved, standing-only tickets priced at £30 may still be available. If you are interested contact Martyn Powis (07483230626)
In November (date tbd) the club will host a charity quiz night with further events scheduled later in the season.
