In case you are unaware, unfortunatley, we have a major issue with the Mains Cable that runs from our supply (at top of drive) to the Clubhouse. To resolve it, a new Cable run will be required, this involves digging a sizeable trench and laying a new cablefrom Haslucks Green Rd into the Clubhouse.

As you will no doubt appreciate, before this work is undertaken, it is important that careful planning is undertaken to ensure that the eventual solution is future proof. The solution may very well include other services required for the future development of The Clubhouse, hence, this will not be a 'quick' fix.

In the short term, your Committee is looking to hire a generator to power the Floodlights. Initial investigations by Head of Grounds, Andy Wilkins estmaite the cost of this being in the region of £2k per month !

We do appreciate that not having a full set of working lights is not ideal, but your Committee are not prepared to spend a vast amount of your Clubs money without exploroing all posibilities, so please bear with us.
