Camp Hill WRFC has been providing rugby to women in Shirley, Solihull for over 25 years.
Established in 1995, Camp Hill’s women’s rugby team was set up by female members of the club, who wanted to give rugby a go; most of us had never played before.
We proved to be not too bad at it and had great success; challenging for Premiership and finishing top of National Championship One (North) twice in three years.
After a short hiatus, the team has relaunched and is rebuilding. So we’re on the look out for new players to join our growing and ever improving squad.
We have a dedicated/qualified and experienced coaching team, so whether you’ve never picked up a rugby ball before, are looking to get your boots back on or fancy a new challenge, they will guide, support and develop you through all aspects of the game.
We are in Shirley, Solihull which is less than 8 miles from Birmingham’s city centre. The Club (situated alongside Shirley Park) is easily reached by car, rail (Shirley Station is just 0.7 miles away) and bus ( 49, 49A) stops are located outside the club’s main entrance).
As well as the rugby, there are also team and club-wide fun and friendly socials arranged; so offering something for everyone,
So why not give rugby and Camp Hill a try?
Training starts at 7pm on Tuesdays, you don’t need any special kit to come and join in, just your trainers and what you are comfortable exercising in.
